Nice to meet you

You studied. So why can't you speak?

“I finished the alphabet… now what?”

You learned the basics — but not how people actually speak.

“I can read it, but I can’t say it.”

You understand it — until you try to speak.

“I don’t know if my pronunciation is right.”

Without feedback, mistakes stick.

Watch the series, say it back.

Conversation

Every episode gets you speaking

You can study Korean for a year and still freeze in a real conversation. Here, you answer out loud from day one — so speaking already feels natural before you ever need it.

I love how when you get done with a few lessons, it will show all of the sentences in a back and forth conversation.

Quiz

An interactive quiz waits in each scene

Know exactly where you stand — in seconds, scene by scene. Each quiz feels like part of the story, not a test, so small mistakes never turn into bigger gaps.

Grammar

Get detailed notes from teacher

Stop memorising — start actually understanding Korean. Every mistake comes with a clear explanation in your language, so patterns click faster — not months later.

There is a huge amount of grammar information. If you make a mistake it explains right away what exactly is wrong and why. Most programs don't have this.

학생 [ hak-saeng ] ends in a final consonant on [ saeng ], so it takes 이에요 [ i-e-yo ].

Pronunciation

Perfect your pronunciation

Most apps let you pass even when your pronunciation isn’t quite right. Ganada checks what you got right and what you didn’t — so you only fix what actually needs fixing, and get understood the first time.

So much better than Duolingo. If your pronunciation is wrong it won't let you pass and you have to keep trying.

Really good

So this is actually one of the best learning apps I've had so far… it's really good, probably one of the best apps I've had so far

Very well done

Everything works well together. There is lots of content in many categories. Worth the money. Learn Hangul: consonants, vowels and how to pronounce them is very helpful before using the app. I really like the culture information, it is very detailed. 감사합니다

Amazing, so informative!

I've tried quite a few apps to learn Korean, but Ganada has easily become my favourite. The lessons are really well explained, and I love that it teaches Korean through real-life conversations and K-drama style examples instead of just memorising random words. The grammar breakdowns make everything so much easier to understand, and the speaking practice has really helped build my confidence.

Finally I paid for a Korean learning app

After being disappointed by mostly every Korean learning app on the App Store… this app was worth the money. Great learning interactivity, nice touch with the keyboard and really you can focus on getting the alphabet mastered with explanations and correct pronunciations!

One of the best apps

I've been trying to learn Korean for nearly a year and I've struggled to actually be able to use it in real life… but with this app I've been able to understand the grammar easier, the way you learn each phrase makes sense, and each lesson rounds out the last lesson.

10/10 recommend

You listen to authentic Korean, it provides opportunities to adjust the lessons to your level, they give you explanations on why certain phrases are put together and why it's more natural that way. I love how interactive it is and it is a great resource for listening, reading, and speaking practice.

An excellent Korean learning tool

I've noticed frequent updates that consistently improve stability, add useful content, make app more user-friendly. Overall, this is a fantastic app that I highly recommend to anyone learning Korean.

Such a clever app!

Very good and clever app. So much better than Duolingo. If your pronunciation is wrong it won't let you pass and you have to keep trying. It repeats again and again the same sentence later if you made a mistake. It's easy to learn by listening.

Excellent

This app is really unique in how it shows the natural Korean sentence structure alongside the English, this is something that is missing from virtually every other app I've tried, the videos themselves are really high-quality, overall excellent app

Quality app. Really good

I think this is a great app that really helps me with my listening skills. It really helped me while I was in Korea. Also the review section is really nice. Like a TikTok that helps me review the videos I learned in the past to see if I retain them.

Excellent

I am pleased to see the Romanization implemented as requested. It's now my turn to raise my rating to a well-deserved five stars. Excellent work!

Loving the variation of learning techniques

I find the video samples really helpful. It helps my memory to see the Korean sentence in context… I love how when you get done with a few lessons, it will show all of the sentences in a back and forth conversation. Its Review system is really well thought out.

Is Ganada free to use?

Yes! Ganada gives you one lesson a day, free. For anyone who wants to go further there is a Premium version — use it if you would like more lessons.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I start?

Yes — Ganada starts you at the very beginning: tracing 한글 letter by letter. You'll be reading before the series asks you to.

What makes Ganada different from other Korean apps?

Ganada is built on an original drama series — five characters whose lines you watch, get quizzed on, then say out loud with pronunciation feedback. Textbook apps hand you sentences; Ganada gives you scenes you want to keep watching.

Do I need to know 한글 first?

No. Learning 한글 is the first thing Ganada teaches you.

What languages is Ganada available in?

18: English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Bengali, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, Italian, and Polish.

Are the videos from real K-dramas?

No. Ganada runs on an original series we write and film ourselves, made for learning Korean — we do not use clips from broadcast dramas. That lets us match every line to where you are, and keep the way people actually talk, which textbooks leave out. We do tell you which show an expression actually appeared in, though.
